The Heart of the 200: Family, Grit, and the Sound of Victory

From the thunder of King of the Baggers to a first-time win in the Twins Cup, Motul’s riders turned Daytona into a celebration of endurance, emotion, and pure two-wheel soul.

The Heart of the 200: Family, Grit, and the Sound of Victory

Daytona hums differently when the bikes roll out. It’s a vibration you feel in your ribs, in your spine, in the way the grandstands hold their breath.

Cory West stood at the center of it all. A rider, a father, and a force. He swept multiple races, then took the podium holding his newborn. Around him, the Motul red glowed. S symbol of craft meeting heart.

Motul’s presence at the MotoAmerica Daytona 200 wasn’t about domination. It was about the people who make speed feel human.

Young Matthew Chapin wrote his own story that weekend with a breakout win in Race 2 of the Twins Cup, proving that courage still outpaces experience. And when ARCH Motorcycle, co-founded by Keanu Reeves, rolled out its debut machine, it wasn’t perfection that drew attention, it was the attempt. They finished, learned, and lived the ethos that defines every paddock Motul touches: performance isn’t a product, it’s a pursuit.
