Road America Reborn: A New Era for Motul

At America’s fastest road course, Motul steps into a new role as title sponsor during a weekend of endurance, ingenuity, and grit that defined what partnership really means.

Road America Reborn: A New Era for Motul

The air in Elkhart Lake carries its own kind of thunder. This year, it sounded different — the first-ever Motul Sportscar Grand Prix at Road America, where speed met storytelling and the red-and-white banners stood taller than ever.

For Motul, the event marked a milestone: the brand’s debut as the track’s title sponsor. But the real story was written in sweat and midnight hours. The MMG crew clinched a Motul Pole Award in the Michelin Pilot Challenge, then powered to a P3 finish that felt like a victory in spirit. Across the paddock, Dragonspeed claimed the Motul Pole in GTD Pro, proof that precision engineering and performance passion know no boundaries.

Then came Pfaff Motorsports. After a crash in qualifying left their Porsche tubbed, they rebuilt overnight with a borrowed chassis from Forte Racing. No podiums, no champagne, just applause that rolled through the garages. At Road America, Motul wasn’t just in the logos. It was in the effort, the endurance, and the pulse of every team that refused to quit.
