Dai Yoshihara’s Return to the Grid

For Dai Yoshihara, the ROAR at Daytona marked both a beginning and an end: his first race with Motul and MMG, and one of only two appearances this season. Yet even in that short span, his presence rippled through the paddock.

MMG, a tight-knit outfit built on Montreal grit, welcomed Dai like family. His driving spoke the rest. Every lap of the Michelin Pilot Challenge became a study in balance: restraint meeting instinct, control meeting chaos.

When the checkered flag fell, the weekend’s story wasn’t about position, it was about connection. Motul’s red thread ran through every gear, every conversation, every moment of stillness between engines. Daytona was only the start, but for Dai Yoshihara, it felt like a homecoming.
