Giveaway Rules
1. Sponsor
The giveaway promotion (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Motul USA, located at 5836 Corporate Avenue, Suite 150, Cypress, CA 90630 (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
The Promotion is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and immediate family members (parent, spouse, sibling, or child) and persons residing in the same household of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies, and event partners are not eligible to enter.
Void where prohibited by law.
3. Promotion Period
The Promotion consists of seven (7) separate entry periods (each, an “Entry Period”) corresponding to select TunerBash race events taking place between March 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026.
Each Entry Period begins at 12:00 a.m. local time on the first day of the applicable event and ends following the official completion of the applicable event, unless otherwise posted on the entry page or at the event location.
Entries submitted during one Entry Period will only be eligible for that applicable drawing and will not carry over into subsequent Entry Periods.
4. How to Enter
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
During each Entry Period, eligible entrants may enter by submitting their name and valid email address via:
Limit one (1) entry per person/email address per Entry Period.
Automated, bulk, robotic, script-generated, or duplicate entries may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
5. Winner Selection and Odds
For each Entry Period, one (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period.
Each drawing will occur within approximately seventy-two (72) hours following the close of the applicable Entry Period.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period.
6. Prize (7 Total Prizes)
Each Entry Period winner will receive:
- one (1) Motul oil change kit (each, a “Prize”).
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Prize: CAD $250.
Total number of Prizes available during the Promotion: seven (7).
Prizes are:
- non-transferable;
- not redeemable for cash; and
- subject to substitution by Sponsor with a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
Any costs or expenses not specifically stated herein are the responsibility of the winner.
7. Winner Notification
Each potential winner will be notified via the email address provided at entry within approximately three (3) days following the applicable drawing.
To be declared an official winner, the selected entrant must respond within three (3) days of notification;
If a selected entrant:
- cannot be contacted;
- fails to return required documentation;
- is found ineligible; or
- otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules,
the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate entrant may be selected.
8. Publicity Release
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a Prize constitutes the winner’s consent for Sponsor and its designees to use the winner’s name, city/province of residence, likeness, photograph, voice, and statements for advertising and promotional purposes in any media now known or later developed without additional compensation.
9. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s applicable privacy policy and will be used for the administration of the Promotion and related communications.
By entering, entrants may receive promotional communications from Sponsor and may opt out at any time.
10. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Promotion or any Entry Period if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, delayed, or undelivered entries or communications.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules.
11. Release and Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, event partners, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt, use, or misuse of any Prize.
12. Governing Law
The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations of Canada.
These Official Rules shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Quebec Residents
For residents of Quebec, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a Prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
